Terms & Conditions
2013 Booking Policy
- Deposits & Payments: At the time of booking a deposit of 20% of the total trip cost is to be provided for by Visa or Mastercard. A 3.5% credit card handling charge applies. The balance will then be collected from the same card 45 days prior to arrival at Tufi Resort.
- Cancellations: Cancellations prior to 45 days before arrival will be fully refunded. Any cancellations 45-30 days prior to arrival will be refundable at 50%. Cancellations with 30 days or less will be non-refundable. The resort policy dictates that there will be no refunds whatsoever within thirty days of travel.
- Travel Insurance: We recommend that every guest purchase comprehensive trip cancellation, accident, medical and baggage insurance prior to their departure. Evacuation insurance is compulsory. We recommend you purchase DAN INSURANCE or DAN TRAVEL ASSIST in your own country before arriving in Papua New Guinea or TUFI. TUFI Resort can not sell you dive insurance. DAN is the expert in Diving related evacuations and sponsor an in-country hyperbaric chamber in Port Moresby. DAN Insurance provides immediate evacuation and mobilization and treatment for dive related accidents, (e.g. decompression sickness). Please note that the resort will not be responsible for lost baggage, airline cancellations and lost property. Guests should take trip cancellation or interruption insurance to ensure against unforeseen events for travel anywhere in PNG.
It should be noted that weather conditions in parts of PNG could be variable from June to September and open water boat reef diving could be restricted to the fiords for safety reasons. The management reserves all rights in this regard.
